Our November meeting at the newly restored Parrish Schoolhouse,
also known as the YMCA, was a great success.

Parrish Professionals has adopted the section of Hwy 301 that runs through Parrish

Once every year, we celebrate our success as a group by having a members' banquet.

This year our membership has dipped slightly due to economic times, but we managed to have a cozy get together at the River Wilderness Country Club. Our president and chief supporter, Jackie Felix started things off by describing the first meeting of the organization. It was a jewelry show hosted in her home, and presented by Teresa Gilleard. From that one chance meeting, a networking group of professional women, and soon men, was formed in Parrish. At our annual banquet, we had a wonderful meal, as well as a presentation by engineer Richard Claybrook about development trends, and the economic outlook. Afterwards, each member stood up and described what their business does, and what their ideal referral from fellow members might be. The rest of the evening was just a nice visit among friends. |
